About Agent Skills

What this site is

Agent Skills is a searchable catalog of skills for AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, and other assistants that support the emerging skills format. A skill is a small package of instructions and resources that teaches an agent how to perform a specific task well — generating documents, reviewing code, integrating an API, and thousands of other jobs.

Our goal is to make skills discoverable: instead of digging through scattered repositories, you can search one place, compare what exists, and install the skill you need with a single command.

Where the skills come from

Every skill listed here is sourced from a public, open-source repository. We index each skill's metadata and documentation, link back to the original project, and credit the author. The skills themselves remain the work of their respective authors and are governed by the licenses of their source repositories — we do not claim ownership of any indexed skill.

If you are the author of a skill listed here and would like it updated or removed, please reach out via our contact page and we will act promptly.

How the catalog is curated

The catalog is refreshed regularly from upstream repositories. Featured skills are hand-picked for quality, documentation completeness, and practical usefulness. We remove skills whose source repositories disappear or whose content violates our listing standards.

Skill counts shown on the site reflect the number of skills currently indexed and browsable in our database.

Who runs it

Agent Skills is built and maintained by AgentsDance, an independent open-source group focused on tooling for AI agents. The site itself is open in spirit: corrections, skill submissions, and feedback are all welcome on GitHub.
