Interpreting Insider Activity
Strong signals:
- Multiple insiders buying
- CEO/CFO open market purchases
- Large buys relative to salary
Weak signals:
- 10b5-1 plan sales (pre-scheduled)
- Option exercises with immediate sale
- Stock grants (not open market)
